Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius – Open Field 2020

The Lunar Eclipse on June 5th is at 15 degrees of Sagittarius, pointing toward the vast stretch of unknown territory and possibilities that exist just beyond peripheral vision. It is the first of three eclipses in a row to occur in 2020, the second of which may bring results that echo into the future for decades to come.

This super-charged full moon, opposite of Venus Retrograde signals that the time has come to release that which has become too heavy to carry around physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, to break free from that which confines and to take a few reasonable risks that lead to greater understanding and growth. There are open field opportunities revealing themselves left and right, but they may seem more intimidating than promising. Life was never about guarantees, but about experience.

An exact degree t-square with Mars in Pisces indicates that change is imminent and probably quite anxiety-producing. Mars is sandwiched between Ceres and Neptune, so there are confusing issues to face around what nurtures vs what chokes our life force energy. It can be very difficult to discern between the two, especially since the domain of Pisces lacks solid boundaries overall.

Taking a step backward to gain a clearer picture of what is actually going on may help considerably before taking big action. Some things need to be broken down into smaller steps before the sense of what is “correct” comes into full view. That being said, staying stuck is not currently an option. Much is beginning to become unstuck. Much is now moving forward, regardless of what and who is ready for the movement.

Sagittarius reminds us of a kind of divine providence that exists, regardless of religious dogmas and ideologies. We all need hope as well faith at a time like this, when there is so much uncertainty about the direction we are heading in as a species and how we will survive the myriad odds against us.

Anything is possible, including miracles. Still, courage, focus and the pursuit of wisdom is required of more of us than ever before.
