Sweeping World Changes and the Solar Eclipse of June 21st 2020

The year started with a Lunar Eclipse in Cancer and it’s themes will be carried out for many months. Among the six eclipses of 2020, the one that is sure to make the greatest impact on world events and the economy is the solar eclipse on June 21st, coinciding with the Solstice. This eclipse occurs at zero degrees of Cancer, which is one of the critical degrees falling in a cardinal sign. This alone gives it a special importance but there are several other factors that amplify its effects. It occurs just over a month after the North Node’s shift from Cancer into Gemini and because the North Lunar Node moves backward instead of forward into a sign, at 29 degrees it is just one degree away from the eclipse. These two signs share certain similarities but are overall quite different in expression, so there will be much crossover in how their various qualities emerge.

The last eclipse at zero degrees of Cancer occurred on June 21st 2001 and it made a conjunction to the North Node in Cancer. Often, the effect of an eclipse is carried out over several months or years and is triggered by transiting planets. This eclipse preceded the violent events that went down in Manhattan, New York on September 11, 2001 and a whole series of lies and deceit revolving around terrorism used to manipulate the masses. The efforts to restore homeland security was the focus then and is yet again, in ever-increasingly invasive ways. From full body scanners at the airport to facial recognition screens in the unexpected places, social media data mining platforms, spying smart phones, random drones, and cameras hidden on every big city sidewalk, and ever-expanding 5G networks we live in a world where so-called safety is prioritized over both privacy and adventure. Everyone must obey the rules or be punished by unelected government.

Eclipses that occur more than once at a critical cardinal degree, especially this same exact degree during a single century is seen as rare. The one before 2001 occurred on December 22nd of 1889 at zero degrees of the cardinal sign Capricorn. This sign, which has featured so prominently in the past year and a half is related to politics, industry, hard labor and large displays of power. The eclipse of 1889 was a forerunner to a major plummet of financial affairs, the stock market, and employment rates. The South Lunar Node influenced that eclipse and so much was lost and destroyed but eventually made way for new growth.

During the eclipse on June 21st of 2001 and the upcoming eclipse of June 21st 2020 the North Node was and will be a strong influence, which will clear things out of our way but bring significant new beginnings on a collective level and in our individual lives. Many of these changes are already visible and underway. Those who will experience some of the strongest effects of this eclipse have personal planets between 25-29 degrees of any mutable signs – Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, or between 0 and 5 degrees of any cardinal signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn. This eclipse falls in home-based and emotional Cancer but there is also a restless, Gemini feel to it. Gemini’s ruling planet Mercury will be Retrograde in Cancer and Venus will also be Retrograde in Gemini. There is some intense mental shifting and reckoning indicated by these transits.

Just as the one in June of 2001, this eclipse is going to hit the natal chart of the USA in a particularly strong way. During June 2001 both the Venus and Jupiter positions of the US were activated. This brought the focus onto both finances and racial conflicts, particularly with the Middle East. Saturn was coming into a conjunction with US placement of Uranus in Gemini, bringing some hard lessons around what it means to be a “free nation”.

On June 21st 2020 we can expect big events and big news with both Jupiter and Pluto forming an opposition to the US’s Mercury Retrograde in Cancer. Again, Venus and Jupiter are being activated. Venus rules money and Jupiter rules expansion and law. With all this water sign energy there could be an expansion in or awareness of maritime law. I do hope that more people become aware of rather than continuously duped by laws that they don’t understand – laws made under the guise of providing security but actually do nothing more than ensure our slavery. Thanks to our remaining free speech rights there are many who are providing education about this subject on the Internet.

Saturn will be Retrograde at zero degrees of Aquarius forming an inconjunct aspect to the Eclipse. This is another signal that there are some radical changes on the horizon that will usher in a new wave of chaos and probably also create as much separation between groups as there will be bonding across the globe. Many of these changes will become more visible during the last eclipse of the year on December 14th and the Great Conjunction on December 21st 2020, and especially in the year 2021.

In 2020, the Lunar Node polarities of Cancer and Capricorn are emphasized until midway through the year when the focus begins to shift into Gemini and Sagittarius. The eclipse of June 21st will be a marker of this shift. From building foundations to increased transportation, things could easily become overstimulating and scattered, which makes people the perfect victims for mind control. That’s only if they are not paying attention and do not have an appropriate sense of earthly boundaries. This period of time could also bring huge breakthroughs and opportunities unlike those any of us have experienced before.

The Good and Bad possible scenarios to look for around this Solar Eclipse are:

  • Major relocations (from one home or nation to another)
  • Attacks on or by the USA
  • White house scandals
  • Economic transformation
  • Increased security checks in public locations
  • Large-scale financial losses and/or windfalls, major investments
  • Protection or the lack thereof of the vulnerable, young, old, weak, etc.
  • Water disasters, water-based attacks and earthquakes
  • Water as a precious commodity
  • Shocking events in North Korea and China (their Uranus gets activated)
  • Ongoing case for illegal settlements in Middle East (Saturn activated in Palestine’s chart)
  • Corruption of bankers globally exposed
  • Families disconnect or reconnect
  • A rise in home businesses and small family-run businesses

Security or Sovereignty

This eclipse will affect everyone in some way, shape or form, to a greater or lesser degree. It will emphasize a new cycle that is underway in each of our lives. Cancer is a water sign ruled by the Moon and therefore it points toward those things pertaining to this sign which include having a solid home base to operate from, deep emotional processes, inner and outer security, relations with the public, mothering and motherhood, loyalty to people or causes, and a sense of belonging.

In a general sense, with this eclipse and the transits to follow it will become obvious whether security or sovereignty is what most people on this planet desire. The sign of Cancer is a catalyst for creating greater security in some area of life, according to the house it falls in in our natal charts and any planets being aspected. This does not just mean external security but includes a deep kind of soul level security, which is not really security anymore in the literal sense of the word but actually akin to spiritual sovereignty. In 2020, who and what we are most loyal to and vice versa will be revealed. It will become easier to break free from those things, people and places that no longer resonate with who we really are and to enter into relationships and situations that are more of a reflection of our true nature and values. There is so much more to say about what this means for us on a collective level but I’ll save my ideas for a later time and in segments that different people may find of interest.

Sometimes it seems daunting to interpret one’s own chart and to figure out just how these things may manifest on a personal level. This is when getting a chart reading by a professional astrologer with an objective view can be helpful. For me, chart interpretation in a way that helps others tap into their own intuitive wisdom is a passion. You may contact me for a reading at ReadingsByYerevan@gmail.com

Lunar Eclipse in Cancer 1-10-20 An International and Domestic Paradigm Shift

The Lunar Eclipse at 20 degrees of Cancer on January 10th is the mark of both an international and domestic paradigm shift on this planet. The Moon is opposite of the Sun, Mercury, Ceres, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, giving a final push from limited conditions before the Saturn-Pluto conjunction becomes exact on January 13th. Uranus stations Direct on this day after being Retrograde since August 11 2019, adding to the wildness and unpredictability of moods and encounters.

Cancer is a water sign and its element rules the emotions. Emotional attachments, triggering dynamics and dependencies may seem to be worsening, which is what often happens before something stops and begins to improve. The haunting memories of past betrayals, the stifled home settings, the toxic relationships, childhood wounds, family skeletons falling out of the closet, hunger and longing for connection beyond personality levels are magnified at this time.

What both the lunar eclipse in Cancer and Uranus going Direct in Taurus are saying is that it’s time to let go of some things that have been weighing us down. The Cancer Moon points to emotional baggage and Uranus going forward in earthy Taurus points to material possessions and money-related patterns that need to change. If we live as if the past is stuck to us like krazy glue we’ll never find find happiness in the present or future. If finances are motivated by fear, greed or a non-questioning sense of obligation they will become a form of imprisonment.

This is a monumental moment in the living room, at the kitchen table, and in the town square. Words and feelings, like food, are also nourishing or poisonous to the body’s complex systems. The ocean tides are influenced by the moon but oceans have also been impacted by human misdeeds and ignorance. Read about the tons of radioactive fukushima water ready to be dumped into the Pacific ocean

The tension between the Cancer Moon and Ceres in Capricorn is also casting a light on motherhood, nurturing and the hidden wounds that women carry as mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters. It makes visible the various forms of sacrifice that women experience when they offer their bodies to house another being in their womb and support its upbringing. For some this is a joyful experience, but too many mothers in this world are burdened by tragedy, illness, or a lack of emotional support.

The concept of mothering goes beyond giving physical birth. One can mother and nurture others with food, with information, material goods or affection. One can also birth art instead of babies. For some, mothering others has been the sole focus of their livelihood and interactions with others. Those who have done so without compromising themselves too much are often the most fulfilled. But those who have barely made time for their own rest, hopes and dreams tend to become bitter, or at some point when they just cannot continue to give themselves away, suddenly break down in distress. They may feel then that they have nothing left to give.

Finding oneself after an extended period of suffering, smother-mothering or self-sacrifice can be overwhelming. There is so much to piece together. The difference between what has been given away in good spirits and what has been lost is something that this eclipse is helping to discern. Right giving just feels right and empowers us and others. The pattern of wrong giving can finally be broken and a phase of reclaiming personal power has just begun.

New mothers and fathers are experiencing certain challenges that our ancestors never had to face. We may not have to labor as hard as they did in plowing the fields and darning the socks. They would probably roll over in their graves if they saw jam-packed freeways, 5G towers, enforced vaccinations, chemtrails and where AI could be taking us as a species.

The current state of development indicated by the Cancerian lunar eclipse is vulnerable one, apparently filled with pitfalls, dangers and temptations. There is enough uncertainty in the air so it’s probably do best to lay low and not act on any iffy impulses. The greatest benefits may be discovered by going inward in such activities as staying cozy by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa, home-cooking, cuddling with pets or reading a good novel.

The world can be a scary place and everyone needs to get away from it all now and then to hear themselves think and breathe. Whatever the refuge is should provide serenity, beauty and sense of safety, even if it’s just a state of mind, an angle or perspective that is liberating rather than confining. This is a time tending the aspects of the soul that have been wilting from neglect. Meditation, sleep, visits to the spa or receiving a massage are ways of gaining peace of mind. Other activities supported by the current astro alignments include building an altar, practicing Feng Shui or otherwise clearing out clutter, bringing comfort and sacredness into a living space.

The USA is Cancer-born and the lunar eclipse occurs between its Sun and Mercury, opposite of its Pluto and impending Pluto Return (2022). There are clear signs of America undergoing some big changes with regard to its leading government, its economy, and many prized forms of freedom that have been stripped away one by one in the past decade. Now a new decade has begun. What unfolds may be unlike that which any of us alive today have seen happen. Wherever we may be, as long as the faculties of reasoning and responsibility still exist within us we have so many options to create a meaningful and joy-filled life.

Solar Eclipse in Capricorn

Merry Christmas & happy holidays! The Solar Eclipse in Capricorn is now in full effect. Great time to lay low for a bit and recover from this crazy crazy year… ’cause more big changes are coming!

There is a lot of letting go and purification taking place that can help to prepare for new and wonderful manifestations. ❄️🙏🌞

2020: The Start of a New Decade

There are many things that will make 2020 a remarkable year in history. This will be the start of a New Decade. It begins with a Lunar Eclipse in Cancer and the long-awaited conjunction between Saturn and Pluto, which is something that only occurs approximately every 35-40 years. The focus is currently in the sign of Capricorn, and those with planets in Cancer and Capricorn have been undergoing either great turmoil or triumph in their lives during the past year into the new one. In some cases it’s a combination of both.

With the Saturn-Pluto influence there is a lot of deconstruction that must take place before reconstruction and new beginnings take effect. This is what is causing so much discomfort and anxiety for many of us. No doubt these are trying times and it has been taking everything in our tool kit to survive the stress.

Usually there are only four to five eclipses per year. There are a total of six eclipses that will take place in the year ahead. To underline and put all of this into perspective, what is taking place right now astrologically is extraordinary and indicates significant life shifts for everyone on this planet.

On March 21st Saturn enters Aquarius. It will go Retrograde on May 11th going backward into Capricorn on July 1st until September 29th and then it will reenter Aquarius on December 17th. Those with planets in Leo or Aquarius will begin to strongly experience the influence of Saturn in their lives, which could assist in grounding visions into reality, maturation and setting appropriate boundaries. The tests of being able to handle growing responsibilities will come into play as well.

One of the most profound shifts to take place will be on December 21st of 2020 when the Great Conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn takes places in the sign of Aquarius. In addition to the Saturn-Pluto conjunction this one heralds social upheavals along with massive changes in government and global economy.

The current transit of Jupiter through Capricorn is a turning point in consciousness and with it many of the old ways of doing things are coming to completion. This is what prompted the long article Jupiter in Capricorn: End of an Epoch and Turning Point to a New Life. When Jupiter goes Retrograde from May 14th until September 13th and during this time it could become extra important to tap into the resourceful nature of Capricorn.

Venus going Retrograde in Gemini in May and Mars going Retrograde in Aries in September are also going to be tests of staying power, patience and determination. We will have many opportunities throughout the year to review relationships to kinsfolk and life goals in order to make necessary changes.

Some good news is that 2020 will be a 4 year in numerology  helping to bring many aspects of life into greater focus, cohesiveness, organization and stability. The number four is complimentary to the strong Saturnian vibration which supports structure and things of the material world.

For those of you who would like to better understand how to tap into the higher dimensions of Jupiter, Saturn or Pluto’s placements in your chart I am offering readings focused on manifesting your soul’s potential during these turbulent times. Some of you may be feeling discouraged, tired or just plain scared about what the future holds. I am happy to be your astrological guide and counselor in self-empowerment. Solar Eclipse December 25th – The Manifold Expressions of Power Making Themselves Known

The New Moon on December 25th is an Annular Solar Eclipse at 4 degrees of Capricorn that illuminates incredible reservoirs of energy and strength waiting to be utilized in new ways. The effects of this eclipse will be drawn out over six months, until the lunar eclipse on June 5th. Occurring just after the Solstice on December 21st, it serves as a profound prelude to the highly charged year of 2020.

This Solar Eclipse not only has a powerful influence in the ways that it urges us to be, do and give more than we thought capable of ourselves but through various means demonstrates the levels and manifestations of power at our disposal, given, received or experienced overall. This may sound overly serious and foreboding but there is humor in some of the darkest situations just as there is a silver lining in the heaviest of clouds.

Power is one of those words that not many people are comfortable with and for good reasons. It describes something that can be so easily abused in the wrong hands, and yet combined with love it can heal and uplift. Power can mean many different things at different times, from the mundane to the mystical. It is what makes all things possible in this Universe.

In short, this Solar Eclipse highlights the powers that affect us as well as the power we have to affect change. This is an eclipse of EMPOWERMENT; it indicates that this is an opportune time to come into our gifts, to “toughen up” in some way, actualize our potentials, overcome our fears, and go forward with unshakable resolve.

Jupiter conjunct the Solar Eclipse and South Node in Capricorn

Jupiter conjunct the Solar Eclipse means that this is no small thing but rather massive in its implications and impact on our lives for several months to come. The presence of Jupiter here is highly auspicious in a number of ways. It is also drawing near the South Node in Capricorn and their combined influence may be experienced throughout January 2020, but especially leading up to the Lunar Eclipse in Cancer on the 10th and Saturn-Pluto conjunction on the 12th.

The current emphasis on Jupiter also indicates possible changes of residence, travel, visitors from afar, a connection to spiritual traditions, and traditional ceremonies and rituals taking place at home. It could also bring financial opportunities, new business ventures, and success in legal activities. Much positive growth and expansion is taking place.

Jupiter is the ultimate go-to planet for tackling obstacles, but the South Node represents patterns that can be binding. It may seem that heavy burdens and issues from the past are resurfacing, including those thought to be long gone or already resolved, and especially those related to work and authority figures. New angles on old problems may need to be addressed, because apparently they have not been fully corrected or released. Between now and January 12th the obstacles that most need to be cleared as well as their underlying causes will become apparent. In some cases the greatest challenges revolve around health, depression and chronic ailments. It could be time for a different approach to tending an old wound. If what you’ve been doing for a long time in order to heal has not helped, why not try something new? Jupiter’s influence can restore faith in our body’s ability to do its rightful job, that is to say what came naturally before others or we ourselves interfered with the process. A great part of healing is sleep and rest which allows the body to fully regenerate itself.

The dynamics involving Nodal Axis between Cancer and Capricorn are reaching critical mass. These involve home life, ancestry and need to balance nurturing and privacy with leadership and the delegation of tasks that involve large groups of people. The focus that these areas have received in 2019 have been pointing toward the blind spots of politicians, pseudo-spiritual leaders, and people on high pedestals.

The problem of homelessness in the US has skyrocketed during the past couple of years. With the ever-increasing advancements of technology including smart meters and 5G, privacy and quiet nesting has appeared to become a thing of the past. The search for the perfect home, peaceful home conditions, the cohesive family unit, the safe space continues. The subject of nourishment, both physical and emotional and where it comes from has taken many different forms in young people who are increasingly dissatisfied with the current state of political and economic affairs. Although they are often misguided in their fits of rage and virtue signaling, who can blame them for acting out when they have inherited all of the unresolved conflicts of those who came before? The “state of the world” today is what has been dumped onto them since they were born. What identity politics most reveal is an intense desire for a sense of belonging. That desire is especially heightened now.

Jupiter opposite of the North Node in Cancer ties into the theme linked with the first decan of Capricorn which is the balance between outer work and inner reflection. Workaholism is an addiction disguised as beneficial. The Tarot card Two of Disks illustrates the balance of inner rest and outer work and needs that must be met. It also hints at partnership in work endeavors toward a mutual goal. Although not necessarily a warm and fuzzy type of influence, it can indicate that those souls who come together or work together at this time are fulfilling soul contracts or are soul mates. Deep soul work, the kind that may have been thwarted in the past is now being supported.

Because the eclipse falls in the first decan of Capricorn, the influences of Jupiter and Saturn are both extra strong. The Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto conjunction in this sign is in full effect and there are deeply spiritual implications present for those who are attuned to the subtle aspects of life. From an earthly perspective there is also a great sense of possibility opening up. Jupiter’s trine to Uranus (exact today on December 15th) brings excitement and positive change. It helps to break free from ruts and even the most stubborn of constraints.

The Walk With Power

A fellow psychic reader recently said something in conversation that struck a chord and seems relevant for the times. It was that there are people in this world who “walk for power, and those who walk with it”. Those who walk for power are driven by ego, lust and greed. Some of them are addressed as The Powers that Be. There are others who simply think and act like they are more powerful than they are. They want power over others and will stop at nothing to attain it. Those who walk with power walk with integrity, with their ancestors, in alignment with the spirits of earth and sky. Miraculously, they make their way “through the shadows of the valleys of death, and they fear no evil”, as the biblical saying goes. This doesn’t mean they never experience any fear or pain whatsoever. It means that their courage is stronger than their doubts. Those who walk with power walk with truth as their armor. This is the most empowering walk to take in the long run. The walk in this instance means the arduous path without guarantees or instant gratifications. It is not an easy path but it is deeply fulfilling. This is the path to liberation, and each individual who becomes aware that it exists has access to it.

The Sabian symbol for this eclipse is:

“Indians On The Warpath. While Some Men Row A Well-Filled Canoe, Others In It Perform A War Dance”

This points to defensive action or aggression intermingled with a sense of spirit-driven purpose and ceremony. It also hints at the dynamics of the biological family and lineage, or spirit family, boldly navigating across the waters (the water sign Cancer is Capricorn’s polar opposite) which represent the well of the subconscious, emotional depths and the vast, life-giving Feminine. The Capricorn archetype upholds patriotism, proper authority and what families are willing to do to support each other.

Highlights and Fortune

The Solar Eclipse makes conjunctions to two fixed stars, both benefic in nature. One is the double star Kaus Media, which denotes focus, honor, strength and prosperity. The other is Polis, is linked with ambition as well as spiritual authority and attainment.

Highlights of the Solar Eclipse and Jupiter conjunct the South Node in Capricorn:

  • Ancestral contracts made or broken
  • Creation of a new work or home environment
  • Draw toward Soul Mate connections
  • Dismantling of outmoded power structures
  • Food for body and soul, healing, rest and repose
  • Recovery from what has been suffered through the efforts, mistakes and trials of the South Node in Capricorn. Assimilation of the lessons learned.

The asteroid Fortuna at 5 degrees Capricorn bears an influence on the New Moon conjunct Jupiter. Here is just another sign that good fortune is on the horizon, in ways we have least expected it to show up. The Solar Eclipse bumps up the energy necessary for Jupiter’s un-shackling process to begin. Quite possibly the best Christmas present ever.

Full Moon in Gemini: Just breathe

As Chiron stations for direct motion, the moon is close to being full at 19 degrees of Gemini on December 11th. Energy is moving very quickly and it’s going in all directions. There is so much to see, do and hear that it might seem dizzying.

This time around, the fullness of the moon is reflecting the results of accumulated thoughts and actions involving close kin. That is to say, it is bringing about a massive amplification of interpersonal relationship dynamics. The good, the bad and the ugly are all coming “home to roost”, as the saying goes. This is of course a loose interpretation of what different folks may be experiencing. The positive effects and rewards for past efforts may also be coming into view but if that is the case they are probably not quite accessible yet…

A square with Neptune spells ideas that can’t be contained or pinned down and this might indicate a break in some of the best laid plans that were scheduled for the past few days and the week ahead. It is best to go with the flow, remaining open to new ways of doing and being. It’s easier for some of us than others to let go of preconceived notions and mental attachments in order to experience a breakthrough, discover the solution to an annoying problem or simply to enjoy an adventure. It’s not necessarily instinctive to let go and allow ourselves to savor the wildness of the moment and the last thing anybody wants to do is give up the urge to control. But the thing is, right now that might be necessary. A quincunx to Saturn, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn could indicate some missing steps and pieces that are required to bring something to completion. These are likely related in some way to family affairs.

Meanwhile with Chiron shifting gears at 1 degrees of Aries (December 13th), there is a resurgence of old pain, old triggers and even old ghosts from the past that seem to be begging for attention. There may be physical ailments to address or emotional ones that are ready at least be acknowledged but preferably healed. The healing might take some significant length time or involve several steps but the process itself will become easier and more effective than it has been since Chiron went Retrograde on July 8th.

It could be that one of the most important things to remember at this time is to just breathe. This Full Moon in Gemini brings us into contact with many interesting things and environments that ask us to take inventory of a situation/s without trying to force anything into place. An eclipse season is drawing near and increasing the collective anticipation around the holidays and new year. If you decide to wish upon a star or two, watch closely what manifests within the next few weeks. The steps for actualizing them may be unraveling right at your very feet.

2020 #4 Year of the Emperor

2020 rounds off to a Four year in numerology, bringing stability and strength to various aspects of life including health, relationships and significant endeavors. Four is an even number and therefore brings a certain degree of predictability along with peace of mind. This may come as great relief after the frenetic Three year coming to a close.

The Three year of 2019 has brought many opportunities, options and ideas to mull over but frequently too much going on all at once to process. It was exciting but also over the top. There was a lot of movement and inspiration along with extreme anxiety and uncertainty about the environment, which path to choose and about the future overall. Three corresponds with the Empress card of the Major Arcana and during the year there have been many themes both positive and negative revolving around maternal figures, relationships or issues with women, fertility, creativity, romance, sexuality, and the feminine. The Empress card’s ruling planet Venus made powerful alignments with Mars, the planet associated with the number Three vibration.

Four corresponds to the Emperor card of the Major Arcana, which is influenced by the sign of Aries and the planet Mars. The presence of the Emperor signifies a shift of focus toward paternal figures, politicians, men, masculinity, masonry, order, architecture, the building of structure, tradition, ambitions, security and protection.

Whereas life may have moved too fast, at a hectic pace that seemed uncontrollable during 2019, the Four vibration of 2020 will slow things down and so that movement itself is more carefully thought out and deliberate. Three is wild and won’t be contained while Four seeks for organization and fits things neatly into boxes.  Insecurity, doubts and fears will be replaced with increased confidence, practicality and a warrior-like sense of courage. It will become easier to set down some roots, grow in stamina, create or nurture something of lasting value, gain steady income, become more focused and to achieve what previously could not be due to distractions or impatience.

Four is a number that relates to many things that give structure such as:

Four directions, Four seasons, Four elements, and Four limbs

These things help us to navigate, tell what time it is, and to better understand our place in the Universe. Four gets us in touch with good old terra firma, reminding us of our feet and the way that gravity holds us, keeping all of our parts intact and upright. 2020 could be a favorable year for building a home, launching a career, providing for family, planting a garden or working to restore natural resources, and to strengthen our boundaries which means different things to different folks. This is a number of conventional views and with its influence, frivolities fall away in the pursuit of lasting satisfaction and success through dedication and consistency. It can also indicate public recognition for efforts and achievements.

The number Four is one of endurance and is an appropriate match for the heightened focus around Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all transiting the highly industrious sign of Capricorn in 2020. The planet Mercury which represents mental faculties and communications has been linked with this number. Mercury relates also to merchandise and money. Four is considered a lucky number for not just making money or achieving stability but increasing prosperity through sales, hard work or even through knowledge.

Fatherhood, patriarchy, relationships or issues with men and male activities will be the highlights throughout the entire year. During the Sun’s transit through Aries, from March 20th to April 19th the Emperor’s influence will be strongly experienced. This may be especially noticeable in April, the fourth month of the year. The long-standing results of what occur during this time could be positive or negative depending on several factors.

The Emperor gets all of us in touch with the Sacred or Profane Masculine in some way, shape or form. This card can relate to male authority figures including fathers, politicians, dictators and world leaders. Symbolically it addresses all of the injustices that have been done both to and by men, through the ages. It zeros in on what men are going through or what women are experiencing regarding the men or males in their life. Many young men who are called “Millenials” are becoming aware of a need for emotional recovery and empowerment. They have suffered the burdens of those before them who offered no real support or validation of their masculinity. They may have had poor role models and now seek for enlightened methods of living, parenting, and relating to others and themselves.

The planet Mars which corresponds to the Emperor will be in Aries, the first sign of its rulership, for an extended duration (more than half of the year 2020) due to its Retrograde motion September 9th to November 13th. This transit beginning in late June and carried into the New Year of 2021 may entail a great deal of reworking and recovery of the male self-image, sexuality, and ambitions. It may indicate that we are dealing with some very powerful male dominant forces or that we need to become better organized in coping with the pressing issues in our countries and communities.

There are four recognized Cardinal Virtues and four Cardinal signs of the Zodiac, which are the first signs to form a cross within the wheel. Those born under the signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn those or having a predominance of planets in them in their charts will likely be experiencing profound shifts, endings and new beginnings throughout 2020. Part of this is due to the focus of planets in Capricorn which also deals with paternity and masculine authority, as well as the Nodal Axis continuing its focus between Cancer and Capricorn until May. In addition to the awaited transit of Mars through Aries, the comet Chiron is transiting Aries, emphasizing areas in need of healing, particularly for those with personal planets or placements in any of the four Cardinal signs.

The downside of a Four year is that for some people it could seem too monotonous, boring, predictable or stale. It could cause the sensation of being stuck, pinned down or locked into place. It could also indicate stagnancy in the political scene. Negatively, the Four vibration imposes rules that are limiting instead of supportive. Depending on where the focus has been largely placed in the past and where it’s going in 2020, people may seem trapped and immobile or they could become more grounded. Effects are going to be unique to each and every individual because of their innate value system and set of circumstances.

The Four year supports activities that bring greater strength and stability, such as working muscles through various weight-resistance exercises or starting a savings account. Paradoxically, as an even number the Four also supports non-action. This is the year to become a lot more careful about expenditures of energy, making sure to get adequate rest instead of working oneself into the ground.

The number Four is all for what’s practical and not glamorous. It highlights work that may be humble but that definitely pays off in the long run. This is especially true of the kind of work that ensures that our basic needs are met. It’s about not being afraid to get our hands dirty as we slowly but surely build the life of our dreams.

During 2020, the structure that Four represents is an aid to discipline and self-mastery. It will become important to provide life’s essentials for ourselves and loved ones so that from a position of strength we may venture into the world with greater confidence and resilience than before.

Neptune Stations Direct 2019 – Water Sword of Purification and Truth

Neptune went Retrograde on June 21st and is slowing down for a Direct station on November 27th at 15 degrees of Pisces. It makes a conjunction to the fixed star Achernar, also known as the Mouth of the River. This signals a surge of previously unrecognized or unvoiced emotions and truths rising to the surface of consciousness.

Neptune is the planet of dreams and the realms of imagination. Often Neptune’s influence can lead to denial, obsession, or addiction but when Retrograde it tends to reveal many things that are not pleasant to look at or hear. As it stations Direct the impact of what is understood, seen, or experienced may be amplified. As it goes forward again, so are myriad buried, stifled and confused ideas emerging from their murky depths to be aired out, voiced, reconciled, and reckoned with.

The qualities and influences of the star Achernar resemble those of Jupiter and are known to bestow great benevolence and success, as well as to heighten inspiration. Combined with Neptune however there can be difficulty in maintaining physical equilibrium. The energy coursing throughout our bodies or the environment can lead to feelings of spaciness, nausea or otherwise mean suffering from some kind of virus is possible during this time. It could be that what has been realized during Neptune’s Retrograde period has been overwhelming to assimilate and the time has come to process and take action on what was learned.

Mercury in Scorpio forms an exact trine to Jupiter, further assisting in the access of information from the subconscious mind as well as from external yet hidden sources. What comes up now may come to some as a relief. Yet for others there are a lot of icky vibes and a desire to expel toxicity from the mind, body and/or relationships with others. The truth involving communications will no longer be suppressed. It’s said that the truth hurts but it also liberates. Some of the things that people need to say to another or others may be shocking or even hurtful for the other to hear. The time has come for truth to prevail. By speaking truth with authority, a dam of stuck, nearly rotten energy is finally released. The knowledge attained over time and hardships must eventually be put into action and transformed into wisdom.

The New Moon in Sagittarius on November 26th is the launching pad for new and freer expressions of the truth. The Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune at the moment of its direct motion on the 27th, indicating the friction between intuition and habitual responses. There could be some degree of “diving board fear” here, meaning a hesitation to truly heed the call of intuition, to make necessary changes or take the dive into something that seems so formidable and is yet simultaneously is the key to success.

With Neptune’s extra strong presence we are drawn to various forms of Neptunian outlets such as music, poetry, painting or meditation. Dreams may be extra vivid and seek to be interpreted by the dreamer, to effect powerful changes in waking life. Finally Neptune is no longer being squared by Jupiter this year. Jupiter has been conjunct the Galactic Center since mid-November, also heightening dreams, aspirations and synchronistic encounters. Both Jupiter and Neptune are now in positions to do anything but confuse and befuddle. Both are showing and telling it like it is.

This Neptune Direct is like a fierce Sword of Water penetrating into the most muddy crack of our lives to rid us of parasites, germs and a host of invisible adversaries. One by one, it is piercing through the metaphorical rivers, lakes and oceans of erroneous ideas, pseudo-spiritual bullshit and insidious psychic garbage that we have been saturated by for months, years, or even our entire lives. It is bringing clarity to the so-called Big Picture and allowing for a greater sense of appreciation for it all without getting lost in petty details. The Piscean element of compassion may also grow stronger as a result of seeing things more clearly.
